Sunday 20th January, Paris – On the final day of Paris Men’s Fashion Week, actors, musicians and global influencers came together for the runway show of dunhill’s latest collection. dunhill is emerging as one of Britain’s most relevant men's luxury fashion brands. 95 years after the opening of their first shop in Paris, dunhill showcased their new Autumn Winter 2019 collection last night.

Newly crowned Golden Globe winner, Rami Malek experienced the excitement around the new collection from the front row. He revealed the “major risk” he took to take the role of Freddie Mercury in award winning, Bohemian Rhapsody. With Malek and the Queen biopic tipped to be nominated for the Oscars on Tuesday, Malek revealed that it’s always difficult to think about the critical reception but was pleased to get a standing ovation from critics across the world. He added that he was “proud to be able to share history and Queen’s story with a whole new generation” which is something he’s “going to be very proud of for a very long time.”

Andrew Maag, dunhill CEO revealed how the show is a great opportunity to connect directly with their customers. He is thrilled at the tailwind of growth of men’s fashion and is pleased to be leading it. He states that dunhill have a digital first approach as 100% of luxury purchases are researched online first so it’s so important to be communicating with customers on their mobiles in the right way at the right time. Whilst dunhill will be launching new stores globally, Maag highlights concerns over the impact of Brexit. With staff in London HQ comprising of over 26 nationalities, he states just how important it is to keep that “people factor.”

Commenting on the show, Mark Weston, Creative Director of dunhill explains that this season he wanted “that rediscovery of sophistication, of having the confidence for quietness and discretion” but at the same time, still having the “idea of playing with the parameters of taste and recontextualisation of menswear cultures”, something that is inherently very British.
