"It is difficult to predict whether selling Wolves will be an easy task or not and how much the club will be worth as the Championship has different rules from the Premier League.


The history, structure and a solid fan base are all attractive assets when it comes to this club in particular – but it’s still a long way from the Premier League.


Oversea buyers are usually interested to come to the English market when the opportunity arises, so it will be interesting to see if investors, especially from South-East Asia, will be among the first bidders.


Should a group of fans or a consortium want to go ahead with an acquisition they're likely to have a rocky ride; the regulations, including the proven ability to provide funds for the next 18 months, are very strict.”
